I love your responce to the review bellow XD

And thus I will attempt to give you a very helpful and motivational review :D ((if I am even able lol))

First off, I LOVE the sound choices! Except for the bass that is during the main melody intro, that sounds really distorted and grated a little too much. ((And almost out of key due to such distortion)) I would suggest using a Bass that is more punchy and bouncing, not so much the super phat grated bass that is pure saw lol.

Now when I hear these songs, I am thinking of a story right, and this doesn't really give that feel, and I would have to honestly say it is because of the fuzzy bass, it just kind of kills the mood that I believe Boten Anna and Dota were supposed to have, ye know?

LOVE THE TOMS!! Don't change those ;) their wonderful.

The intro kick is pretty awesome not gunna lie, was expecting a little more though to be honest, and if at all possible I would love to hear a remade version of this with just MORE yes :D?

I think the main issue is the bass, the intro bass is awesome, but I would think a more punchy bass following the main melody would work very nice, and a sharper lead synth, it seems the high end of the sound is being killed with the bass and central spectrum sounds. Which can be good for hardstyle and more deep bass focused songs ((like DJ D'agustino's Bla bla bla)) But anyway, I would suggest making a stronger lead ;)

So over all --

1 - More punchy bass line that is more bouncing ((do you know how to make the basshunter bass?))

2 - Stronger lead synth!! Probably a saw instrument with a lower underlining plucked trance synth, that sounds awesome ;)

3 - If you feel like being brave, you can always change up the melody some, instead of doing note for note what basshunter does, because that adds personality and your own touch of character and your own twist to it, which is great for listeners to be able to pick it out and be all "Holy crap that is new but exciting!" So, theres that.

4 - Try and get some more FX samples, they help fill in a lot of dead time, you have a TON of exciting awesome ones in here everywhere, so don't worry too much about this one, just a thought ;) ((like random two word vocals and such))

Great job!!

Wow that is one hell of a review.
That is exactly where i hoped for lol.
This helped me a lot, even so much that I got the motivation to produce again.
I also became a feautured artist with this account, which motivated me like hell aswell.

I will keep your points and criticm in mind for when I am making a new version of basshunter.
Right now I am working on Out of the blue remix. I remix it from the real version from Ferry Corsten (SystemF) you might know the artist.

Thanks for your support, and for the extremely great review =D,

//Alright!

Just a little while ago I was wondering what happened to you! So glad you didn't disappear like a lot of other artists :D

Another epic track!

Kazmo responds:

I'm back :3 Thanks!

Make me look like a noobsauce why don't ye :p

Lol but seriously, this is awesome, really just chillax and pro quality sounds, I can definitely tell you take the time to actually work on your songs and make sure the sounds are perfect and planned :)

Someone once told me: "It only takes half a brain to make Techno, that is why it is so stupid." So I got really upset, but then inspired ((Because I thought it would be easy lol)) To try and create some techno, then I discovered first hand his comment was empty and way false!

Great work! ((Sorry for random spam))

Barrellaj responds:

haha thanks dude for an awesome review, I need to hear more like that.. and believe it or not this is just about the first song I've ever mad and it really is just flat out simple. drum kick, bass number 14 or so on nexus, a nice pluck, and a saw and there's the song. but I really do appreciate cause I've always thought of this as one of my best songs.

and you're friend might actually be a little right, it's almost easier to make techno the less you know. sometimes it gets overwhelming when you know what to do, but ya wing it when ya don't and it comes out not half bad :P

There ye go :)

This is awesome :)

Thanks!!

InclinedInEverything responds:

Thanks dude

ya yike!

Finish, it is almost cruel to post something so great as only a demo XD

Awesome work!

ThunderBeats responds:

haha, thank you :) I recently uploaded the finished version! It's called "Hobbit Trance" (surprise surprise)

Very interesting lol

I never listen to psy trance, so I am not sure what I am supposed to be looking for XD

Though, I did enjoy this a lot, so great job! The only reason no 10/10 was because some of the sounds seemed a little wild ((not mastered properly)) But other than that, great work :)

Shmi responds:

yeah i know what you mean. i kinda suck at mastering, so i really need to practice on that part. it´s nice you liked it though, thanks a lot!

Very nice :)

Sounds very familiar, but refreshing :)

Great job!

lackofintelligence responds:

Thank you! :]

Full feature song?

This could easily become something MUCH more!

Adding in some string ensembles after the basic intro, a little more variation here and there after a minute or so, some effects, maybe a cello in the background? Who knows, but this is honestly wonderful :)

I wouldn't so much consider this depressing, but more of longing, you know? But you wrote it, you would know, and this is wonderful! Love it!

InclinedInEverything responds:

Just made what you said tell me what you think, the title is "The shame of living"

I am a MAJOR TRECKY!

Only seen like every episode of every season of every show :D!!!

This was pretty dang accurate, I would suggest somehow finding the Plugin Purity, if you use some kind of program that runs VST's that is.

This was still pretty amazing, I would only suggest making the toms/drums a lot louder, they seemed kind of drowned out by the brass :)

Great work! ((The initial brass was really sharp and pluckish, maybe some editing?))

Azure-sky responds:

Thanks a lot for the advice :)
I am actually familiar with Purity, but I don't own it myself xD

I agree with the initial brass, I'll see what I can do, its much softer than that isn't it? My bad :P
Louder timps? You got it :)

This is me.
